Because highly intelligent women are usually even more rare than highly intelligent men, and highly intelligent women (as well as all the others) don't necessarily like highly intelligent men, either. They all like the same thing in men; high pride, tall, and social status.

In short, highly intelligent women are extremely rare and don't often go after intelligent men (who aren't tall and successful), anyway.

How are you defining intelligent?

People date, get into relationships with people they like, are compatible with, who tick the majority of the boxes that interest them.

Degrees etc do not come in to it usually.

Men in general are not attracted to a woman's mind or intelligence, that is not a component of her sexual mean value (SMV) or her reproductive fitness. Men are in general attracted to youth and beauty.

You're question is like asking why don't smart men marry women with 3 boobs... Most women aren't highly intelligent. You have to have somewhat realistic expectations...

For example close to 90% of geniuses are men and 66% of people with an IQ over 120 (gifted) are men. Thus, if you're a straight guy you just have to come to terms with the fact that most women just aren't all that smart and focus your efforts on landing women with a mix of other desirable traits. Don't get me wrong, it would be great to have the intellectual stimulation of a women that can keep up, but they are so few and far between that they are unlikely to have any serious level of real comparability. You can't limit yourself to only only dating women that are perfect. No one is perfect...
