How to get my ex to tell me how he caught me out?

So my boyfriend broke up with me about week ago because he found out I cheated.

When he confronted me I admitted to it, took full responsibility and apologised tearfully and promised it would never happen again, but he still broke up with me despite my obvious sincerity, fine I accept that, his choice

BUT he won't tell me how he found out, someone must have told him and he won't tell me who, do I not have a right to know who ratted me out?

You cheated on him and admitted it only when you were confronted with the truth. You are sorry. . . you are sorry that you got caught. And you took full responsbility; what a saint you are. . . but what other option did you have? And you PROMISED it would never happen again! Some time in the past, you promised that you would be faithful and monogamous; yu didn't keep that promise, so why should he believe anything you say now?

You WANTING TO KNOW how he learned the truth does not mean that you have a right to know. If I was the guy and you asked me, I wold tell you to go fuck yourself on the street corner.

You should of asked who said that? They are lying and get him to tell you. Now he will hold onto this for life because he knows what you want. But he wanted loyalty. Tough luck
