Originally it was a set-up with my friends but didn't think it would turn real. My friends (all of us HS seniors) organized a b-day party and told him I ''liked him'' back and to ask me out.
We were dating for 5 months. At least it was just for the dare and I was suppose to dump him on the 2nd month (make up any excuse for breaking up) and collect $100. Thing is I started catching feeling and told my friends to wait a bit longer.
Unfortunately he found out these short text messages exchange between me and my friend Becky sent me. It said:
Becky: So when are you doing to dump him? This was a dare remember? It can't be that hard. We've done this before.
Me: Give it till this week and I'll dump him.
Becky: Please don't tell me you have fallen for him. Don't tell me you the loser. Or you do. You like him, you and the loser together, lol.
Me: Don't be silly girl. Off course not. Me liking the idiot? What type of joke is that? This is just for the dare. It took 2 months for me to even kiss him. I just have to play it good.
I really caught feeling. I only said those things in the message to appear brave, making them think I'm still in for the dare and not getting seen as weak by them. He found out and obviously broke up. Is there a way of getting him back though or not? I am really sorry and mean it but he doesn't believe me. He thinks everything was a lie. It was a dare in the beginning but it become real afterwards.
