Is a woman packing lunch for her husband controversial nowadays?

Just asking.

My wife usually packs me lunch for work, and it's something that some people find unusual where I work - an employee even joked that I'm "lucky". My thoughts on this kind of thing is that I simply see packing lunch for your partner as a nice and caring gesture, and I too used to do it for my wife when she was working and I was home.

Oh please. This whole, drawing gender lines in the sand business has got to stop. Sure, a lot of women weren't actually happy with 2.4 kids hanging onto her legs as she slaved away in a kitchen with no dishwasher and everything was made from scratch. And it was a constant keeping up with Joneses. And she missed having a career, an outside life, another sense of purpose, and time away from the home. And being respected for something more than her domestic 'duties.'

However, women are not statistically happier, now that they are working just as much outside the home as men. Riddle us that, huh, feminists? Even with much greater equality now.

Possible Causes: Women have a lower stress threshold. (This is not my opinion. It has been proven in surveys and studies.) They find work stressful, and have a lower stress response. And, they come home to a partner who's chillin' on the sofa, and doesn't really care that there are dishes in the sink, he ate a salty, not-so-healthy, frozen meal for dinner, and the bathroom mirror has spots all over it. He just doesn't really care. [Some men. Although I happen to know all the ones who do, in fact, care.] So, women, with their higher standards of living, end up doing the lion's share of the housework, and then... they feel bitter. "Why can't you help out more?" Or, if they're a Millennial or Gen Z, they might say, "You're not supposed to help me, you're supposed to do 50/50!" I see it time and time again (I have seen a lot of dating realities shows, so I know what people in their 20s care about and are looking for.) Girls in this age group are taking a stand. They feel it's "unfair" to be "waiting on him hand and foot." "I work too, you know" (she does.) But the issue (if there is one - debate this amongst yourselves), is that females today see gender roles as equal. Except when it comes to something masculine. He should propose, and buy the diamond. He should share his income. He should plan special dates, and gifts, and holidays together. He should appreciate 'the pink tax', and what it takes to look good/hot for him. He should get the cars fixed. He should negotiate terms when facing opposition. And she should not have to cook for him, or do all his laundry. Or make his lunches.

50/50 falls apart pretty easily, actually.

It's just silly. Couples should be able to express their care for one another without it being a sexist issue on who is loving each other the right way.

The guys who'd call someone a simp or cuck are just losers and douchebags who couldn't land a decent respectable woman (so not the bar hoping tramps they're used to) if their lives depends upon it.

Here's my opinion on this subject , as a Man if My wife wanted to pack my lunch the next morning she is More than welcome. I mean really in today's society it's controversially if a woman does that but if I was married & my wife wanted to pack my life she is welcome to - who cares what everyone else thinks you are married to her not them.

That's what I think. I also think it's important to consider doing the same when the roles are switched - ie. she goes to work when the husband stays home, it's nice if the husband packs her lunch for the day.

Exactly how I have it now. My honey is a stay at home dad/husband. We both love our roles to care and love each other. He is really good at domesticated tasks as well as masculine household work, fixing cars, computer, fisher washer, refrigerator.
We are both lucky to have each other. Don’t care what others say.
