My ex wife and I had an open relationship. Worked well until her family found out and threatened her with never talking to her again if she didn’t divorce me.
Chose to do as her family wanted and we split. I was good with it as I felt if I wasn’t worth the fight I deserved better.
Definitely not for everyone, have to be very secure in your relationship. Communication has to be there with what the expectations are and how to deal with issues within and outside your relationship.

One of my dates was into that. She had no father, and she clearly didn't know shit about men. She just had these fantasies that don't match reality.

That everyone can fuck everyone else, and that is happy flower power life.

The truth: when you really like someone, sex with anyone else becomes low quality sex in comparison.

Hence having sex with someone else, nearly all the time, tells you partner you aren't that into them. And they, continuously or subconsciously, get the message.

Also there's just not enough time for paying attention to so much people. One relationship already eats a big deal of time.

I only get jealous if my partner isn't paying enough attention to me. She gets a bit jealous if I date much younger women but she'll just have to deal with it. I date a pretty wide age range older and younger than me. I prefer to go based on chemistry instead.

Of course I do, it's a natural emotion. Like any other emotion I deal with it and sometimes ask my partner or friends for support, if it's overwhelming.
