They cheated on you but as compensation, they give you money. It can be them paying you for your counseling sessions, new clothes or shoes, a brand new bed (if they cheated on your bed), cash, them paying to bail you out if you fight their affair partner, etc.

I wouldn’t except anything from him! I would do exactly what I did do when I found out my ex boyfriend was cheating on me… I’d immediately break up with him, and never speak to him again!
