Would you cheat if you knew you could get away with it?

my best friend is in this situation now. Her guy cheated, and he later confessed, I'll give the scenario:

your dating a girl, it's been about a year, and you clearly love her. You let her know that you genuinely have never found someone that makes you feel like you do when your with her. You two live about an hour and a half away from each other and unfortunately haven't been able to see each other very frequently lately. You both have rapacious sexual appetites. She gives you a lot of freedom in the fact that she trusts you and doesn't ask invasive questions, act needy, or want tabs on you at all times. Would you cheat or be tempted to get laid easily to relieve pent up desires? Would you actually be unfaithful if you knew that you love her, but she'd never be able to find out unless you said something?

Personally I find cheating in general, whether your in love, a long term relationship, or not, just wrong. It shows something shady about the persons character.

I couldn't do it becuase I have a really good heart and I couldn't look her in the eye and say "i love you" but know I cheated.

Im not desperate to get laid, or for the affection of a girl, the reason that I would be with the girl in the first place is becuase she means something to me. If I wanted sex from different girls, I wouldve stayed single in the first place.

I habe been in this situation. And I could have gotten away with it. But I didn't. Maybe I would have 15 years ago, who knows. I consider myself an adult now and so cheating is out of the question. I think being given a lot of trust and freedom help with that though.

No, simply because I don't think I would care enough about getting with a stranger to jeopardize a healthy satisfying relationship. But if for SOME REASON I just felt like I'd be stupid not to go for it, I would actually ask my girlfriend herself if she was okay with it before I would even allow the possibility of a sexual encounter with someone else.

I'd never cheat on someone I cared about. Even if I could get away with it I'd not do so. Why? Because *I'd* know I cheated. Simple as that I guess.
