Obviously, this would have been a conversation that I had with them, likely on our first date, and I’d know their feelings on becoming bionic in the event of an untimely death.
I think it largely depends on whether our life would remain the same, with him as my husband— or would he be forced to become a weapon for the government? Would he even have long term memory access or be aware of his existence before? Does he continue to age? What research is there on the psychological effects of being a cyborg?
