How do you feel about your boyfriend/girlfriend taking you to the places that they went with their ex's?

Does it make you feel any kind of way when your boyfriend/girlfriend take you to the same places they went with their ex's? Is this ok in your opinion, would it bother you? Or would this be fine with you?

I wouldn't care to go places where they visited. He wanted to take me to a beach town they went to and I didn't want to go. His wife passed away when she was only 47 from illness. Those are his special memories with her.

If his wife didn't pass away at 47 they just divorced but she was still alive would you go to the beach town? Or would you still see it as his special memories with her?

Infact, i hate the idea that she has even had an ex. Petty I know, but I was born with a male brain, so it is what it is.

Her mentioning that she was here previously with an ex will ruin the whole night and possibly relationship. But I'm talking from a male point of view, Id expect women to behave differently under the same context.

To be honest with you, I may be the wrong person to ask. I'm super masculine, I'm disagreeable and I don't compromise.

The fact that she has an ex already sickens me to my core. I can only pray that it was a high school crush where they held hands and traded Pokémon cards. Anything else is haram.

So as hard as your comment was to read to my masculine senses, if I had to pick... Don't tell me. And pray it never comes out that you took me somewhere you took your ex... Pray to the almighty God that I never find out.

It depends on the reason. If they're like "I loved being here with Susie" -- non-starter. But if the food is amazing, or the art spectacular, then that's not an issue.

It's according to how often this occurred. If it's common places that everybody goes to, that's one thing. But if it EVERY place they went together and your boyfriend lets you KNOW he haunted this place w his ex, somethings off about this...

It sucked he was distracted the entire time. Last year, my boyfriend took to me out for dinner for valentines day, and didn't tell me he took his ex there, on valentines day. Also it was where he proposed to her. I asked why he was so weird, wr didn't have to go to such an expensive restaurant, and he told me. I was really sick to my stomach. Especially considering he's hasn't proposed to me though
