What does it mean when someone says I will always remember us this way? Does they want to fix things?

Honestly, for someone like me... Well, if I said something like that means I would always remember the good times and things I found most attractive about you, regardless of how it ended.

For example, I went on 4-day ski trip with a woman, for two days it was amazing. The 3 day was really a bit crazy, and she really showed me who she really was. By the four day we got past the issues of the 3rd day. Later when speaking of the trip in general she said she had a great time, except for the 3rd day. I told her when I look back on the trip, I remember the first couple of days and how great the trip ended... because those were the best parts of the trip.

The relationships ended poorly, she was crazy... but we had a lot of great times and fun adventures together, and I try really try hard looking back to remember those times we had together.

But I would never date her again. I will remember her fondly for those moments, because I do not want to be bitter about it.

Yeah, sometimes things happen you cannot come back from or want to revisit... but you always try to remember the good times that you did have. Learn what you need to learn from the situation and try to do better next time.
