Does it make it easier being with a person than without a person?

Is being in a relationship make it easier to do thing like watching movies and watching tv and eating or isn’t harder because you have talk to person and agree on something to eat r watch something?

Not necessarily. A relationship can bring in a lot of benefits to one's life and general existence most surely, but that's only if it's a good relationship where you're not trying to pick up the emotional, mental, physical, or sexual slack for the other person. Or, you know, being abused. That obviously makes for a very, very bad relationship and a good reason to stay single.

Societally speaking, we tend to put romantic relationships on this pedestal high above all other forms of platonic relationships, making it seem like not only is a romantic relationship more valuable than your relationship with your family or friends but also making it seem like you're miserable if you don't have someone to romantically love you in your life. This is kind of bullshit in my opinion, love is valid in all forms romantic and platonic. Just because I'm single doesn't mean I'm miserable, I'm actually quite happy. Would having a companion be nice? Absolutely. Am I going to join the dating pool and potentially find people that make me upset because they can't bring anything good into my life? No, I'm not going to waste my time with that when I can live a perfectly happy life alone with my family and friends.

It's easier by far. A good relationship is like living with your best friend, a therapist, and also someone who is willing to have sex with you anytime. For me, it's pretty amazing.

We don't watch TV so it's not that big of a deal. We can totally lay in bed together watching separate stuff on out phones and it's not awkward, as far as eating we know what each other likes so it's hardly a discussion if we want to go anywhere; usually she cooks and she knows what I like so it's still a win. Overall, what little negatives I can think of are greatly outweighed by the positives.

If you can love someone, and they love you back, you've gotta find a way to make that work because it's totally worth it, my guy.

I find being in a relationship or a friendship hard, I’d rather be on my own, that way I can watch what I want and eat what I want I can also play video games when I want and I can listen to my music when I want.


I find being with someone I can’t do anything I want and I find other people restricting and I hate that.


So I’d say it’s easier doing things alone.
