Absolutely NOT? That mentality is the path to HELL on Earth!!! If you are desperate to be with someone, you will always be a victim! You need to be happy within yourself first... happy in your own skin! Then, you can share your life in a healthy way with someone! You don't base your life on being connected to someone in a relationship! I took me years to figure this out!

As a friend, yeah! When my aunt died almost 3 years ago and I found myself COMPLETELY alone, I invited a couple people I knew to move in just so I wouldn't have to be alone. Of course, neither one of them took me up on the offer.
