When a girl is in her prime she isn't monogamous. But when she turns 30-35, and the man is in his prime, then the woman is ready for monogamy. That's why even in an ideal world where eventually everyone grows up and lives in a monogamous relationship, its not just and not fair.

There is no such thing as a person being "monogamous" or "polyamorous", those are not orientations but choices, rules to manage your relationships with. If you want to make a relationship monogamous, you will just be monogamous in it, so if you find yourself attracted to random people around (which is pretty normal for anybody), you typically don't indulge in that and don't try to know them better, but just let the feeling go and forget in a short while. This has nothing to do with cheating either because cheating is a volountary act, instead of breaking up the relationship first or to ignore the avances, or to fix your relationship instead. Cheating is a conscious choice.
So it doesn't matter whatever theory about "primes", what matters is the contract you sign while entering in a relationship and the work you put in it. Some couples last long from the 20s onward, most of them break but that is usually due to heavy communication issues that translate into constant arguments, because of lack of relationship/introspection skills, not because the woman can't wait to get a new partner (and although statistics say men and women cheat the same, on this website and on Reddit it looks like men cheat way more in comparison and have many more commitment issues, at any age - but maybe it's just women being more vocal about it, I don't know).
Of course, if you want an open relationship or a polyamorous lifestyle, then those are the rules for all the participants. Some people don't feel like trying that because they know they are easily jealous, or because they know they need a lot of space and wouldn't be able to add other partners to manage in their life, some people try it, some fail, some rarely succeed. Most couples run under monogamy rules and expect monogamy as a requirement, anyway. But if you are not ok with that, you just have to find out women who are looking (or are open to) an open relationship or a polyamorous lifestyle. Which is not common but also not impossible. Better going for what you are compatible for... In my case, I couldn't manage 2 partners, now and neither in my 20s, I can barely manage 1 and I value my alone-time a lot.

You choose what relationships you want to be in and how much you want to put into them. It's a two way street. If 30 year old women want to settle down and you don't, then don't fucking settle down. Your fatalistic viewpoint is just pathetic. Just because a woman wants one thing, doesn't mean you can't say no. Girls that want to be married, will stick around for a long time without getting married on the hope you change your mind. That doesn't mean you ever have to change your mind.

He's right. That's why women cheat more than men before age 30, and men cheat more after that age. Why? Because they can. Both men and women are most likely to cheat when they are in their prime and have the power in the sexual marketplace.
