Regarding relationships and men:

Hurt - many, many, many, many times! I can't count how often.
I learned a lot, way too much to be counting them all on here.. overall I learned to love myself and demand respect

Heartbroken - only once and I think the biggest thing I learned from that is, no matter what, no matter how stupid the reasoning is, no matter how great, no matter how deep the connection etc.. you never know when the other person might decide to just give up and walk away.. you can just hope they might stay

Heartbroken, not. Betrayed, as a child/preteen - many times, but it was orchestrated by people who stole me and pretended to be my parents whilst trying to enslave me to be their source of pension (and glorious riches, they were that megalomanic). They prided themselves on being ruthless and cunning and wanted to get me used to thinking of them as almighty gods able to always crush my hopes by pulling the carpet from underneath my feet, disproving reality of ordinary goodness - especially of a loving enduring relationship.
They got to collapse as narcissists and are back in their thorough apalling mysery now, just as their angry anarchistic/genocidal nature results in - the world at large simply was/is not as genuinely delusional.
