A marriage will only work if you are sexually compatible (similar likes and dislikes, kinks, ideas about frequency...). If you have a mismatch here, you are not going to be satisfied, and nore likely to look for it elsewhere, or just be miserable. That's why I would never marry someone without having (a lot of) sex with her first (no regular sex in the relationship; no chance of a proposal). And I'd expect her to have a few ex partners too (and therefore knows what she likes already).
