I guess it really depends on what the incompatibilities are and if y’all are willing to work on them. “love” is irrelevant. A relationship needs way more than just love to work. You could love someone more than anything in the world and that still doesn’t mean they’re right for you

Different financial goals, sexual incompatibilities, interests/hobbies, priorities. But we love and care for each other so much. I was planning on breaking up with boyfriend this week but I just don’t feel like I can do it.
The answer is no. Yes love, trust and understanding is important but being highly compatible is also equally important and a relationship cannot work if there is a clear lack of compatibility.

It can work, but it will probably not be as good as it could have been with someone who was compatible.
