My boyfriend and I are on Twitter together and yesterday someone I've known since 2016. 6 years before I met my boyfriend. The guy I haven't spoken to since 2020 because he purged all his social media due to mental health issues. Well, we start following each other on there and my boyfriend was commenting back and forth on his post about Star Wars. It was okay until I told him he is someone I've know for year's and I think you guys will get along well... He started texting me insulting my friend. Even called saying what a weirdo he is for how he dresses and all the tattoos and how he's a POS. He said he would watch if I reply to him (my friend) and make sure to make himself known as in reply as well even maybe even "shred into him". I unfollowed my Friend... But now I feel like my boyfriend is going to watch my every move on Twitter. This behavior is new. We will known each other a year in April and together as a couple since November. I don't know what to do. I see it as an orange flag teetering on the edge of turning red.

He said men and women cannot be friends at all. He said women have to be interested in men they talk. He said "Women are naive and haven't evovled much" he is 44 by the way and I'm 33. I feel like he's treating me like I'm in my early 20s with very little life experience. I think him being cheated on a lot has caused this. But doesn't mean his issues should spill out onto me.

That department he's good in. But what he's starting to do is making me a little on edge. He said no woman who looks like me has ever been interested in him before. I guess he's trying to push any other guy out because they are 100% a threat to him. If I leave. It will because he can't get a grip on his emotions and work on his trust issues. I've been cheated on in the past and wouldn't act this way.
