I'm not sure what country you're from but if you're from most places not completely oppressing women... wear whatever the hell you want lol. Some guys will care and some won't. If you want to have a guy tell you want you can and can't wear, I hear Iran is hiring.
I have been in relationships when my partner tried to control what I wore. I hated it. I have always dresssed pretty conservative my whole life. But how dare I wear sweat pants to the store. Or dress down in any way..

Im in that very situation. It was the littlest things. He wouldn't let me wear a long choker necklace.
Really? I would put boundaries up. And just let him know you are your own person and you will wear what you want to wear. If he dosnt like it well find someone else who fits his standards. If he dosnt respect that. He's not the right person anyway
Its alright to have opinions on something but forcing me to take that piece off is too far. My boyfriend of 5 years before, never had a problem til recently when i experiment with new clothes. Once he didn't like these shorts i wore that made my gluteus maximums look good. I wore it again and he didn’t say anything. Recently, he mocked me for wearing a long choker necklace ( as seen in the picture ). Told me to take it off so we can go shopping. So i wonder if this is a phase.
Each person has their unique style, and is likely one of the reasons I like to be with her. For me to say, she shouldn't wear something, goes against what attracted me to her in the first place.
Well Im 23 I dont know a lot or haven't seen a lot how it is in a relationship. But I think its like how she grew up by her parents, where they open about it or not. Im like if my girlfriend doesn't wants me to wear something then I would like to have also that my girlfriend doesn't wear what I like.

Sounds fitting because it is a two way street. Each relationship is different
It has a lot more to do on whether my partner might _want_ to leave/engage with someone else, than her clothes. It's commitment/goals related, not looks.
Depends, my wife is pretty conservative so I never really worry about it. But I'm also pretty easy going. The way I see it, as long as she's not nude I don't care.. That same rule goes for me though too..
W in reason. Of course there are boundaries. I’m sure my girl wouldn’t want me wearing flip flops w a hoodies n short pants to dinner even though that’s what I would prefer.

Yes, Certain places u dress appropriately for. Tbh i wouldn't want my partner wearing that to a fancy restaurant but i wouldn't hassle them for it, just mention it and leave it at that
Any female who needs to expose herself while in a relationship, needs to be single. If she is dressing like a whore, then she is trying to get sexual attention and the first guy she thinks is “better”, she will bounce.
Yeah vert few women have dignity anymore, you all believe exposing yourself that way is just normal… if males exposed themselves the way women do, women would have them charged. I am not wrong. Just because it’s popular doesn’t mean it’s right. A female who exposes her body is trying to get sexual attention from other men and should be single.
Yeah well i have barely seen any women who dress like that where im from. Its mostly in California. “If men exposed themselves like women do”, so like gay men? James charles hasn't been charged yet
For the most part I don't care. But there are limits. But she probably doesn't have worry about it. Because how she dresses will come across when we're dating. And if she's really that bad I'll stop dating her.

No. But I'm a pretty conservative person. If she doesn't dress conservatively then she's probably not a match for me. I'm not judging her. But why waste either of our time if we're clearly not a match.
If you are conservative dresser then there is no point in controlling you. Smart men / women know what to wear, when to wear and how to wear. Don't embarass your girlfriend / boyfriend in front of others.

Red flag for sure. Though that's not to say that a partner shouldn't take their SO's feelings into consideration when choosing what to wear.
Yeah I’m not here to control someone. Their choice
Very simple thing lol
Yeah. Not my body not my choice, sure I can say if I like something or not but wouldn’t stop them from wearing something, has this happened to u?

I chose: She can wear whatever she wants.

I'm generally okay with my partners wearing whatever they want, within the bounds of socially acceptable behavior.
All I care about is that she behaves in a way that honors our relationship.
There are boundaries, dependent on setting.
Church.
Work
Doctor's Office
Grocery store
City streets unattended.
There are more.

I’d prefer to meet someone already dressing in what i prefer and vice versa so that we’re not tempted to change anything about eachother
As long as she dresses slutty and looks hot, she can wear whatever she wants. No turtle necks and pants must be tight. Not a big deal
Definitely a red flag. Bet the guy would also hit her for looking him in the eye, as that’s a sign of resistance
She can wear what she wants. But there are obvious limits within common sense. I don't think that a transparent bikini would be acceptable.
Agree
Thanks

I would never tell a girl what to wear. If I did not like her clothes or thought she looked cheap, I just would not date her.
No man should be that controlling.
You’d be surprised
They are men to be avoided.
So are women who dress like prostitutes. So it is a wash... yes?
Miristheiss
there's a partner for everyone. Just don’t go for that girl if you can’t handle her. Let someone else have there chance

What are examples of dressing like a whore?
Look up “hooker outfit” online and if a girl dresses like an actual hooker, she is dressing slutty.
Bruh. That looks like what people at Coachella instagram influencers wear. Ur not wrong!
