My boyfriend threatened me with a knife?

alright this is what happened I don't know if he was just kidding around or not.

i came home and studied for a while and my boyfriend and I had a fight over his mum and I got into bed next thing I know there's a knife at my throat. I don't know what to do or what to make of it. am I at risk or is he just kidding around?

i called the cops, he screamed his head off at me and thretened to kill me =,( I love him and he wants me dead I don't see y he started this in the first place

What if things go further one day? Or if he continues to do it? One time is enough. Do you really want to be with someone like that? I think you should take a break from him at least. He needs to show you that he's not like that and prove that he deserves another chance. You might think that its just something he did but it could have cost you your life and it may just do that one day.
