Eggs, sperm, and their fusion can all be synthesized, though not in large enough a quantity (or diversity) to be feasible, same with artificial uterus. Frozen cells also break down over time without a live source. I bring me, I don't have to justify being a dude for that, being a guy is bringing my package.

No one is unique, but there are people who are an unusually good match. For example, I have an unusual mix of adventure backed up by enough sanity / care to avoid major problems. A willingness to endure hardship when necessary but the skills and means to avoid it most of the time. A very broad scientific / technical range of interests. A rather excessive amount of loyalty - that is unfortunately too easy for people to take advantage of
