If I was looking, still neither lol. Words don't mean shit to me anymore without action. She can say whatever the hell she wants. At the end of the day, just show me. Show me what I mean to you or don't. Actions will tell me what she really wants and then I'll respond accordingly.

I will love to hear 'I want you' from my partner because it usually gives off a dominant vibe and I'm a submissive person. So it's kind of attractive. However, if we are reconciling after argument or talking in a sensitive time then I would want to hear 'I love you'.

But the thing is, I'm not into relationships now so it doesn't matter.

I mean I’d rather be shown both of these than told. But I think “I want you” is like a choice. Like this man is choosing me with some follow up action. “I love you” anyone can really say :(

I love you. “I want you” is more of an indicative of lust rather than love. I’d like hearing this in the initial stages of a relationship, but in the latter stages, I’d prefer “I love you”

I don’t trust people who are all talk and no show. I prefer actions over words.

I constantly hear the “I want you” when someones infatuated or horny. “I love you” is a bit rare but so sweet when heard. At least you know the first one is something they mean (in the moment). I often have to question if the “three words/ily” is just being said to get whatever it is they want

I was going to quickly say that I want to hear, "I want you", but upon commencing to type, I realized that even though I want to hear, "I want you" really badly, I want to hear "I love you" at an even deeper level.

Why? I believe that my story would take a while to unfold. As would anyone's story, of course.

I love you is always good but that’s great coming from your kids or parents or siblings. If it’s your spouse or your girlfriend/boyfriend or just someone you have been good friends and it escalates to that point. It’s “I want you.”

It's tricky. In LATAM, we say: "te amo" —as the ultimate feeling. In Spain is different, from what I learned. There is preferable to say "te quiero"—meaning: I want you—because "te amo" sounds exagerated for them.
