Do i expect my partner? No.

But will I be? To a certain extent. I will listen to what he tells me to and take it into consideration when making my decision. At the end of the day we are a team. My input and opinions are just as valid as his. We both have strengths and weaknesses, coincidentally my weaknesses are his strengths and vice versa.

Being subservient however, doesn't mean that you lose your independence, especially with the right one.

I happen to love how dominant and confident my partner is. It amazes me everyday. It's one of the things I love about him

No way. Life partner and I whoever that ends up being if I am lucky enough to find him or her will never bow down to me. It will be a complete cooperation in the relationship. I'll have it no other way. Take the definition of the word partner and tell me that can be submissive. Not a chance. We are in it together should that time ever come for me. I will be to him or her what they need me to be and expect the same from them.

No, not at all. I DO expect her to recognize that relationships take sacrifice though. There will be times when what's good for the relationship will require her to place her personal interests on the back burner. I'm going to do the same for her. I don't expect anything of her that I wouldn't expect from myself.

I expect them to respect me, and to ask for the same respect in turn. Since objects can't give me respect or ask for it... no, I don't expect them to be subservient.
