She says that she finds it hard to say I love you, is this the honeymoon phase wearing off?

So she says that we were better off as friends as our relationship felt like a close friend relationship but even after saying that, we still hug and held hands even still had sex though strangely I feel that our relationship is deepening even more as we are more open about our thoughts and opinions with each other. It's been near 2 months since we "broke up" and we still talk to each other and have went out together a few times, is this just the honeymoon phase wearing off or is this just her way of breaking things off?

oh by the way the way she held my hand was different too, we used to have our hands interlocked but I noticed around last week she started holding my hand by my pinkie so just her hand grabbing my pinkie

So if she said this to me, I'd have a serious talk about us and most likely end things entirely. The fact that you're still seeing each other and having sex just leads me to believe that she's probably sleeping around with other guys. I would guess she probably started sleeping around even before she said you guys were better off friends, but I couldn't know for sure.

It's definitely not the "honeymoon phase" ending, it's her friend-zoning you. Women don't say those kinds of things to men they want a deeper relationship with and if they do, they're nuts and should be avoided anyways.

don't think she is seeing other guys before friend-zoning me, she deleted most of her social media but we kept in touch through whatsapp but we don't do the deed everytime we meet, at most its like once a month
