You do not have to lend money if you don't feel comfortable. If this is about him not doing much for you, but you're still in the relationship, then clearly this is a communication problem. Maybe you don't expect much from him, maybe he thinks he's doing a good job, maybe you two just don't see things the same way. Talk about it calmly and openly.
