Kind of a cultural thing. Historically speaking, if a woman got pregnant outside marriage, the baby was her problem. Meanwhile if a man got a woman pregnant it was generally his choice whether or not to help with the kid, or even acknowledge the child's existence. Really? It’s the complete opposite for me. I’ve seen it most of my life. One friend tells her friends she cheated on a guy but she justifies it by saying he was being distant. Then the next thing you know all of her friends are telling the boyfriend that he deserved to get cheated on. Then with guys it’s just everyone bashing him. And rumors/gossip spreading about him. I find that it depends on the culture that influences whose cheating is considered worse. Certainly in a lot of conservative societies that accept men being promiscuous or polygamous they are less tolerant of women cheating, but sometimes when the culture promotes the idea of women cheating due to "legitimate" problems with her partner then they become more tolerant of it. Ironically, both boil down to women being seen as the fairer sex, and despite the reaction they have the same premise: "Women are the fairer sex so they aren't supposed to cheat so if someone does she must be the worst" or "Women are the fairer sex and don't cheat so if a woman cheats she must have a very good reason and her partner sucks".
I think cheating is for losers no matter what your gender is. But a woman cheating is so much worse to me, just for the fact that I know the betrayal means way more to her than it does to me.
A guy will cheat because they see someone hot. And we'll probably for the most part never think of that woman again. A woman cannot usually bring themself to cheat unless it's some kind of emotional decision where in that moment the connection they feel to that person was greater than the connection she feels for you. And that's where for me it's just totally different.

Whereas when men cheat it is natural for men to want to collect whores, so they dont see why it's a big deal.

How many homeless men have you seen w/ multiple women? Not sure what study your referring to, however all the ones I've read or conducted say men and women cheat at about the same rate.

It’s a societal thing, again. And you mix it up as being a biological thing where males want to sleep with multiple women and females want to sleep with just one male.
I dont think they get more hate per say, Certain guys have aura that gives off this man is player vibe and when it happens people just strug it off but when a female does they get label a hore and asume she started it with questioning if the they she slept with is inacent.
I guess it’s because women are expected to have sex with their partner 24/7 non stop. Even if we aren’t in the mood. Hell, even after we have a baby we have to have sex. Even if means it’ll cause problems to our body. If our partner cheats, it’s our fault for saying no.
Another reason would be if a man’s wife is passed the age 30. It’s why so many men abandon their families or cheat. It’s our fault for aging and not finding a way to stop the numbers from going up.
For every woman who gets hate for cheating, there is a man getting more hate for cheating too.

@EmyyWolf well one of my friends cheated on her husband and everyone just chalks it up to things he could've done wrong. I don't know the specifics but the overall reaction is "you go girl, cheat away." Considering what I know about the guy -- for some reason he's nice enough to care for a child knowing it isn't his -- pretty much zero chance he was abusive.

I think that's your perspective. It depends on the person's social circle. It's not the case in my experience that if a guy cheats that nothing happens.
Because it means more when a woman cheats. When she cheats she was heavily emotionally invested in cheating for a while, or she was trying to find a way to distance herself from her current situation. All are deeper rooted than just going and just casually fucking someone for fun… not condoning it or defending men in anyway that do it. But it means a lot more from a woman than a man.
I dont see that as true. I know from watching TV and movies, reading books and talking to friends that women who cheat are almost always treated like the wronged party or excuses made as to why they cheat.
