Whats a good comeback when someone calls you pathetic?

How might one come back from comments like these two?

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO or OOOOOOOOOoooOOOOOOO.

I got those two replies to an opinion of mine on another question earlier today. If I were to reply, I'd use the word "pathetic" in response, and it'd be appropriate. I'm sure that it would be followed by another animalistic utterance. Pathetic would again apply.

If the word pathetic fits, there's no argument that'll work against its use.

If the word pathetic doesn't fit a situation, demand clarification so the utterer either puts up, shuts up, or goes home, as the saying goes.

Or it can be ignored.

A possible comeback to being called pathetic is: "At least I'm not resorting to cheap insults to make myself feel better."

Another comeback could be: "It's better to be pathetic than cruel."

Yet another one could be: "Well, I'm not the one calling people names, so if anyone pathetic here, I think it's you."

Or you could also be mature and simply ignore the other person's rude comment.

Whenever someone calls me pathetic, I respond the same way I always do when I receive a compliment -- I thank them profusely and tell them I appreciate their kind words.

Pathetic isn't really a compliment though even though I laugh at times because it's the only word she seems to use towards me.

Is it intended to insult or a minor criticism of a foible you have. It could be either way but reading between the lines it seems to be on the insulting side. An incredulous "You're calling me pathetic" followed by a genuine laugh is a good way to respond.

I'd probably reach into my pocket, grab some change, slap it on the the table in front of them and say "call somebody who cares". Then I'd go back to whatever I was doing.

Because if you call me pathetic you've already demonstrated how worthless your opinion is. I'm not going to waste any more of my precious time on you. Even if i'm just picking my nose, it clearly yields more positive results the listening to you.😆

I did ignore her for over a month. But recently she started to accuse me of stealing our dad's money when I never done such a thing. I really want her to leave me alone and for her to stay out of my business but she won't so I thought if I could find a comeback to her pathetic maybe it will make her shut up and stop

I did ignore her for over a month but recently she accused me of shit I didn't do and the drama restarted as I sat there defending myself. Thought maybe if there was a good comeback for her calling me pathetic maybe it will make her stop because the last option would be going to the police and taking out a restraining order against her but if I were to do that I know she will take things out on dad the same way she took things out on our mum before she passed away when mum defended me
