Boyfriend refuse to go to my brother wedding?

We been together for 3 years, I told my boyfriend that my brother wedding is in aug, and I would like him to go. He refuse to go because he complaining about his body being pain and can't go to event that is all day things. I'm not sure what I'm going to do if he still refusing to go to my family event.

Having a date can’t take priority over his well-being. I know it sucks, maybe it’s even hurtful but if he’s in pain then there’s nothing you can do. Just try not to take it personally because it’s nothing against you, this is out of his control.
