My boyfriend doesn't invite me to his best friend's wedding?

So my bf's best friend wedding is in 2 months and 2 hours drive away , he told me but didn't invite me so I asked him if I could tag along

He said he only got one person on his invitation , and not sure if I can go. But he is the best man and the best friend can not bring his girl friend? Also I am not sure if his friend just invited him because he doesn't know me, we got together after he graduated and I only met them once.

Does it make sense? should I just not go?

Depends on how long you two have been together. If this is a new relationship it's best not to bring new partners because if you two break up there will be photos and videos of an ex.
If he is in the wedding party and you don't know anyone, then you'd be alone for most of the wedding.
Maybe he was being considerate?
I think it would have been nice for him to offer, but I wouldn't go.

we have been together for 8 months , I think he thinks the same way as you do , not super serious about us and scared our picture will be on his friend's social media

I guess it's just that I invited him to my best friend's wedding and I feel upset he isn't doing the same

If he really wanted you there he would have asked if he could bring you. Maybe the friend doesn't want you there and he doesn't want to tell you and hurt your feelings?
If this guy is active on social media, but never posts anything about you he probably doesn't want people knowing.

Yes , I also understand the wedding is about his friends , not me , I have only met them several times so we aren't close friends or anything and if they only have limited space that's understandable , even if best man should have a plus one...
I think I need to talk to my boyfriend to make sure 1 see if he has asked them 2 to see what's the reason if he doesn't want to bring me.
Maybe I shouldn't go either , than you for your opinion!

Since most planned weddings have a certain number of seats for the dinner and usually assigned seating, if you did not get directly and properly invited, you do not go. Another reasons weddings suck. Since he really doesn't know you and really haven't been with your boyfriend all that long, I can see why you weren't invited. Good weekend for a girls night.
