What makes you stay loyal in a relationship?

Well you should  stay loyal in the first place out of a matter of principle.  If you struggle with this then break up with your partner first before hopping in bed with someone else.  However I will say this. I’ve had past gfs trust me and others not trust me. The ones who did trust me made me want to respect and trust them more. But when women act all controlling and overly jealous/paranoid that can push some guys in the wrong direction. That doesn’t justify cheating but just saying there can be reverse psychology there.

A lot of things, but it's mostly respect for my partner and my own personal laziness.

Getting after someone new to have sex with is WORK. It's a ton of effort, the sex frankly won't be that good, and the risk that I would destroy my partner's heart in the process just isn't worth that.

That's what ALL cheaters lack. Self respect & respect for others.
If they did have self respect & respect for others they'd break up from a relationship not cheat and be viewed as trashy and as having absolutely no value beyond sex.

Moral compass, basically I'm not a POS. If the feelings aren't there I'll have a conversation about it and if nothing changes I'm out. No point in dragging it out to what will happen inevitably or potentially putting yourself in a spot to want to cheat. I actually care which is why I'm loyal.
