No. Mutual infatuation is the best thing ever. It's the feeling that people associate with love. Yes, like all the cheesy love songs and movies. But when you 100% surrender yourself to it in real life, there is nothing like romance.

The sex and sexual attraction is amazing, but there is much more to infatuation than that. It's the feeling that you are with the most wonderful person ever created and can't get enough of just being with them, talking, going places, doing things, and sharing your life with them. You admire, respect and adore each other.

I differentiate that from love. Love is different. Love is like the unconditional dedication you have toward your parents, grandparents or children. You can resent and even hate them at times, but still love them. You would do anything, even risk your life for them.

True love for a spouse is the same but can be even deeper. You can trust them completely and know that they will always have your back. It makes you feel safe, warm and secure. But it's different from the blazing bonfire of infatuation. Infatuation burns down and becomes warm, glowing embers in your heart that last a lifetime.

People who don't love anyone end up alone and disatvantaged, so objectively speaking, sociopaths are losers and lovers are winners. I'm not sure what you mean by "a 10 dollar movie" though, if you are talking about an actual movie, I've never heard of it, romance films aren't my thing.

No. But most of it is a joke. It's 90% hormones and 10% reality most the time. And when that 90% wears off you realize how nonsensical the whole thing is. But we enjoy that 10% so much that some people delude themselves to hold on to what is clear bulls***.
