Is it possible that my fiancé doesn’t take me out on dates because i’m boring?

hey my fiancé and i have been together for 7 years. we used to go out on dates, on adventures on errands together then once the pandemic hit it all stopped. i used to be so nice and so naive, but not anymore. i’m still nice but not as much as i used to be before. after being verbally and mentally hurt time and time again you just lose the nice spark you once had. anyway, i don’t talk much. my life has changed big time. i don’t hangout with friends because i don’t have any, i don’t work because i am in school full time. even if i wanted to go out by myself or with my sister or friends if i had any, i can’t because i don’t have money. i live in a expensive city where nothing is free. no museums, parks, nothing is free. so i’ve become very boring. i don’t talk much because i have nothing to talk about, i don’t do anything through out my day so i’m just very boring. could that be a reason why my fiancé doesn’t take me out anywhere? because i’m boring? he does go out with his friends just not with me.

Sounds like both of you are beating a dead horse with this relationship. What has happened in the relationship doesn’t excuse you from giving your best efforts to keep the relationship going if the relationship is what you truly want. You either accept what has happened and move forward or break up with someone and leave them alone so they can learn from their experiences and try to treat someone better next time , Vice versa.

Also everyone needs a hobby, poor or not, and you should always be nice to your SO, you can't let prior relationships ruin you. And if he's the one that was being abusive instead of a prior relationship, then dump him.

he was the one. when we first got together he wasn’t sure of me. he asked other girls if he can take them out on dates, he liked and followed a bunch of bikini girls on instagram, he DMed them telling them they are pretty, he screen shot a bunch, he recorded a porn stars ass when he worked for her, he has told me that i’m not worth it, he has called me so many names under the sun. i’m still here because i hoped he would change. he has, but i can’t get over the past.
