Just say something along the lines of:
"look I've enjoyed hanging out/speaking with you, but I just wanna be honest before this goes any further, I'm just not feeling anythin romantically with you. You are really cool and will make another guy/girl happy though! All the best x"
I don't feel attracted to you or I don't feel like you are my type. Better still, when you start ignoring the other person, you're telling him/her I'm not interested.
when you are at that stage i dont believe you are in need of niceties. rip it off like a wax strip.
Just be honest. Transparency is the key

"It's nothing personal... You're not my type."
To whom do you want to give this message? A relative, co-worker, friend, potential suitor?
"The kind of guys who I really enjoyed being with in the past were all very different from you."
there are ways to do it tactfully, however the other person may really not care if you don't like them, or they may wonder why.
Do it without being mean about it and that is all you can do.
Like I really do not enjoy your company so I will be moving on.
For me… I say “you are like a brother to me”
They will say “I didn’t know you have a brother”
That’s when I respond with “ yeah, we never talk”
#1 - in written versions I use ''F. Y. I.'' with an added message
(FYI = fuck you, idiot)
#2 - in spoken conversation: '' My interest in you is merely rudimental''
...
but normally, I just walk off.
I would honestly try not to and just ghost the person slowly. Make them seek attention elsewhere.
If it gets bad tho, just say it fast. Pretend it’s still friendship. Blame it on an abusive boyfriend. I can slap you and give you a black eye if you want.
Just so they don't get confused about what you're saying, it's better to just come out and say it. I believe in being straight forward and to the point.
No need to say it politely. If "I'm not interested" doesn't work, and then "leave me alone still fails", then escalate to whatever authoritative figure is appropriate for the given scenario.
That politeness I've seen had the opposite affect for one girl I knew.
its not you, its me. i am going through a very selfish stage right now - lol
@shesrad80 That could be interpreted wrong, and the person could make an effort to stay with you. Blaming yourself is rarely the right thing to do, especially when you've done nothing wrong.
@AviatorTom
tom, tom its not you its me im going through a selfish phase right now. 🤣🤣🤣
i personally wouldn't tell anyone i dont like them i would just extract them from life, little by little
Invent a boyfriend. as in 'if I didn't have a boyfriend then'.
I have heard a girl reject a guy with 'I want to fuck this other guy first'. It does leave the door open.
don’t u just say to a guy that’s he’s “just a friend”? 🤔 or do u mean to people in general?
"There just doesn't seem to be a connection here, we don't seem to have much in common".
Personally I'm not interested in you thank you. Don't ever skirt around the issue somebody wanting to like you. Never lead them along. It may hurt at first, but it's being honest.
“I’m not interested.” “I’m already interested in someone else”
"Sorry, pal but we ain't clickin. You are you and I... just leave me be, yeah?"
A few years ago, a guy expressed his feelings for me, but they weren’t mutual. I simply told him that I only saw him as a friend.
In a different life we could have been friends.
"My emotions switch from positive to negative around you my G"
Say it how it sounds how you think it because if you turn them down and not say it direct they will keep going or think you will wait on them when you just don’t like them
"I'm sorry but I do not fancy you."
I think this isn't going anywhere, and we need to move on.
your momma don't love ya, your breath stinks and your feet smell, and i don't like you
lol, you can't. You're telling someone you don't like them. It's about as impolite as you can get
Why would you want to do that? How will that help you?
We see things differently so we should just move along
I would say let's get to know each other more.
"That doesn't click."
It's not you, it's me.
“We’re not compatible”
I just don't talk to anyone
I've never had to turn anyone down before
"Bless your heart"
A true Southerner!
Yes sir
I would disagree here.
Do you have to tell them that?
