Should my partner offer to come with me to my medical appointment or is he right to say that I’m capable of going myself?

My boyfriend keeps telling me to go see a foot specialist because my feet keep getting blisters….. I asked him to come with me if he cares so much since he’s persistent about me going to a specialist……he said I’m 33 years old am capable of going myself - which I am, but should if he at least offered to go with me even if I said no? Or am I overthinking this?

He works overnight shifts and is extremely tired after work and he sleeps as soon as he finishes work…

I woked 12 hr shifts most of my life. It never stopped me from taking my kids to events and going with other if she wanted. I usually fell asleep in the waiting room. Least i was there.
