I'd watch a sport I had no heavy interest in if my partner was playing in it, for sure. I don't watch polo, soccer, baseball, football. If my partner was on a local team, I'd support him and learn the rules of said game.

I think most folk can find something to like about just about any sport. I used to watch rugby games, and hockey. Big energy and violent.

I've watched horse races, volleyball, all manner of Olympic games, and though I'm not a big fan of all manner of athletics, I don't "dislike" most sports. There are many that I'm not fans of, but I can watch anything. It's a small price to watch something my SO would be involved in. And I know most of the rules of most sports anyway. It would be no big deal.

Yes. Part of being together is learning about new things. It doesn't mean you have to continue watching it or being interested in it after. But giving it a shot is what matters. We all gain experience in our lives thanks to the people who open our eyes to new things.

This could apply to a sport or a hobby, or any area of interest, it's good to try and take an interest in your significant other or friends. If it turns out not to be interesting to you, at least you have an understanding of that particular activity.

I don't think it's healthy to make yourself do things you don't wanna do unless it's responsibility-related. My partner likes to paint her nails, and I simply will never give a shit about it. I'm all about Diablo IV, and I'm completely fine with the fact that my woman has no interest at all in it.

I'd rather her watch her romance bullshit while I watch my murder porn. I'd rather enjoy what I enjoy than force myself to be retarded with her.

Naw... if I have no interest in it, I would have to stay true to myself. They could tell me how it went and I'd listen or I may go watch them play and support them, but not watch the sport on TV.

If they want to sit and watch the sport they like on TV, then I don't think we would be a good match or they would be doing it themselves.

I might at first but honestly I hate watching sports so I’d probably play on my phone or do something else if it is just watching it at home or in a restaurant/bar. I wouldn’t however be against buying them tickets for an actual game, going with them every once in a while and actually engage with it more. But to be honest I generally don’t go for anyone super into sports and my boyfriend will rarely watch them himself

It’s always great to show interest in your partners things that they like to do and as long as you’re honest about it I’m sure he or she won’t mind what you do or don’t do with the sport that they are playing or watching. We can’t all like everything that everybody else likes, right

I wouldn't watch it I most likely already know about it drop watching it as a kid and playing it but to keep up now with it no cause already know about it and who is who even if I don't watch it all new players are constantly talked about like celebs so it's hard to not be in the know about sports lol

It is okay for couples to have things they enjoy on their own. It is actually healthy to have time apart and have fun away from one another. Being constantly together for everything is a good way to burn out the relationship.

I HATE soccer. I find it to be incredibly boring to watch. My partner on the other hand is a diehard fan. I don’t watch it enough to learn but I do watch it with him because he finds it entertaining and I wanna just spend time with him.
