Paradoxically, I'm both. I am an open book, I talk about anything and everything with people if they are open to it. The only restriction I have is being professional in a work setting or with work colleagues. But in my private life, I'm not so private. I think it's great to be open and learn more about others and give others a chance to learn more about you.

But on the flip side, I have often been told I'm "mysterious", which I kind of found intriguing, and a bit flattering. The more I thought about it, though, the more it makes sense. There is a lot to a person, and just because you share openly doesn't mean you can't also be mysterious to others. There's so much to people, the depth is almost limitless.

I think I am an open book for the most part, maybe 80% visible to others. I'm assuming my friends and family like me cause if they did not like me, they would not initiate social events together. I do have friends and family that do not initiate contact, cause they do not see value in me and do not have a positive view of who I am.

I don’t need to share everything about myself. There has to be a limit on what you will tell someone… Some people claim to be a open book… But they tell everyone all their business. While some people hide skeletons in the closet.

I think I'm more of a woman of mystery to the majority of people I come across. I don't really reveal too much about myself to most people. They always wonder what kind of person I am. But to my closest friends and family, I think I'm more of an open book.

On here, I can be an open book because I'm anonymous. Outside of GaG, I do not discuss my private life so much. I do it here because the culture here is to ask questions, get opinions, and speak from experiences.

I'm such a private person people try to read me all the time! Having mystery only makes people want you more! People hate when there's someone they're not sure if they can have because they don't know the person. I dont even tell people my birthday. Every orofie I set up, my date of birth or age is different. I feel more comfortable with people knowing less about me unless they're open to me about who they are, and are at least somewhat honest with me.

I have many layers of openness and it is not one-dimensional (I share different things with every person). The reason why this is is mainly because of my insecurities and low self-esteem. If I had a choice I would be an open book around my friends and family and semi-open with people I know.
