Keep friendship?

I told my female friend (known her for only 2 months) that I like her (I didn’t hit on her )

She doesn’t like me back the same way
We both (separately) told rest of the group how worried we are this could ruin the group
It is a very good group and I would like to keep this group (hopefully)
I know It’s my fault, I misread the signs and it’s awkward

I keep trying to give her space , but this makes it more awkward cause we used to text a lot , meet 2/3 times a week and spend every weekend together and with the rest of the group and go dancing together

Is it possible to get past this awkwardness or that’s it fucked up already

I’d say to give it some time to blow over, but also to keep in mind that she may not want to partake in how your friendship used to run. Because of the attention and time you gave each other, I’m not surprised one of you caught feelings, so it would make sense to lessen these interactions. Right now, don’t put so much focus on her. If you’re within a group, try mingling with them more and giving her adequate space. I’m sure the awkwardness will fade, it just takes a bit of time and enforcing clear boundaries going forward.
