Do you believe in the “right one”?

Do you believe it’s good to wait for the one who feels right and is the one? Or is it better to be with who’s good to you/there?

I probably did when I was your age. Now I'm more realistic. We all like to think there's someone out there just for us. And the REALITY is anyone can be that person with mutual effort.

But to answer the second part of your question. Yes, I do think a person should WAIT for the right person. Or more accurately not force something with the wrong person. You'll just do more harm (probably to yourself) than good. And double worse you might take that aftermath in to the next relationship. Which is unfair to that person.

I've got a pretty zen attitude towards relationships anymore. I'm about positivity. If you bring more strife to my life than joy I do not keep you in my life. I would expect her to feel the same about me. If we have a problem let's talk about it and get it out of the way. 90% of the issues with people is lack of communication. I think deep down a lot of time people don't talk because they know the minute they do they'll realize it's over already. And they don't want to face it. So they tell themselves "this person just doesn't listen and understand me". When the reality is, no you two are just not right for eachother anymore (if you ever were). Because relationships are about compromise.

Never you'll find the Right One, you'll Both make the RIGHT ONES for eachother. The only issue is... If ONE or both doesn't want to Chance or Compromise to Accommodate the Other one, then, that Relationship is NOT THE RIGHT ONE, for any of you.

I don't believe in the right one, I believe in the right timing. We're at different places in our life and what u like at 20 won't be what u want at 30 unless u grow with the person, so its best to say u find someone attractive and specific time in their life when they have grown to a specific version if themselves.

Yeah i do. I've been with guys who were only “good to me” but didn't love me the way i wanted (and vice versa), and I've been with the person who “feels right”. A little bit more chaotic, more hurt because there’s more feelings, more passion, but its worth it.

No. There is no such thing. there are people out there who go their entire lives without having a partner. My coworker is almost 60 and he told me he’s never had a partner. I’ve had a few in the past who have all cheated on me and once I dealt with a false accusation I realized I had to get used to staying single and after 8 full years I’ve become used to it.

No! Of course not. Guys in my league are available almost every day of the week. If I am seeking someone better, they would be willing to fuck me provided I was willing to fuck, but for a relationship, I would be wasting my time.

To explain: before I make 'decisions' I look at all options available.

Often, a compromise keeps things going; where waiting for the perfect scenario could be a waste of time in the end.

Both. I feel like it makes no sense to wait completely and go 40 years without a relationship. But I am also an old school romantic and have prayed for God to lead me to someone made for me. It’s not one answer or the other if that makes sense.
