Definition of 'Infatuation' by Wikipedia:
"Infatuation or being smitten is the state of being carried away by an unreasoned passion, usually towards another person for whom one has developed strong romantic feelings."
Today I've experienced this feeling for what I believe is the third time in my life. It's an amazing feeling. When I say 'infatuation', I mean the warm feeling of happiness, love and passion when thinking of someone, so not the obsessive kind. I don't think it makes someone a 'creep' when they're infatuated. Have you ever experienced a feeling like this? If so, what were/are your thoughts? Did you end up asking the person out, or did you get over the feeling?
Infatuation can feel amazing. You get this rush unlike any other. It can really make you feel alive.
It’s important to recognize though that you’re basically high though. Everything you experience and see will be through rose-tinted glasses. You will feel blissfully intoxicated.
Don’t make any stupid decisions. Infatuation and love can often intertwine, but never mistake one for the other.
You are very vulnerable to your love interest when you’re infatuated. Any power or influence they have over you will be tenfold.
It’s a double-edged sword.
It’s wonderful to experience when it’s mutually shared with someone who loves you.
But, it can have traumatic consequences if the one you’re infatuated with intends to take advantage of your trust and vulnerability.

Being in a mutually infatuated relationship is the greatest bliss one can experience. Each of you thinks the other is the most perfect person who ever existed. You can't get enough of each other. And the sex is out of this world.
Infatuation is the feeling that people associate with love. "Love at first sight", "puppy love", "I'll never love anyone else", ...
But infatuation and love are two different things. Infatuation can evolve into love. But love is what happens once you get realistic, see your partner for who they truly are and love them anyway.
I've had several girlfriends in my life, beginning when I was 16. I was deeply infatuated with each one. I am grateful that I experienced every one of those relationships.
