How to help my boyfriend?

My boyfriend is going through real hard time now but we r in long distance relationship, i feel like i am not helping him much and I don't know what to say or do to help him in this situation. Any suggestions?

All you can give is moral support and good phone calls. Why aren't you two living in same city? When can this happen?

If it can't and these hard times happen repeatedly, I don't see much future for a longterm relationship.

Relationships thrive on in-person interactions of many kinds. Cups of coffee together, breakfast, lunch and dinner. A movie. Movie night in front of the TV. Walks in the park.

Without all kinds of RL interactions, relationships, UNLESS they were in-person for a long time before a SHORT-TERM separation, won't last. Consider these facts before continuing if you can't be together for the long term in a short while. Kisses!

An incident happened that caused him to lose the place he was living, he survived a life threatening event. I don't wanna get into detail but things aren't good. He is strong man but i can feel that he is sad and abit angry that these things happened to him. I want to make him feel better and motivated, i want to make him feel that am always with him even if i am far. But all i do os listen and i feel like whatever i say isn't enough to make him feel better
