Am I being insecure?

I have been with my partner for almost a year. He moved up here from England after 3 months together to be with me and our relationship has been going from strength to strength. The only downside is that I'm a massive overthinker and have dreams he's cheating on me with other women. He's always messaging me from work to. check in and see how my days going. He tells me constantly that he loves me and only me and that I'm his forever. But I somehow get it into my head that something is going to go wrong and he will leave but he tells me I'm being silly and he's going nowhere. Is he right, am I just being silly. Iv had people tell me this in previous relationships and they always leave. Any help on this would be appreciated

Well... You are most likely overthinking. The dreams You mentioned might be a sign of Your internal fear of abandonment. The bad news is, if You voice that fear frequently enough, You might kind of convince Your partner to realize it, creating a self-fulfilling prophecy. This might have happened with Your previous partners, as well. If You have no actual clues hinting towards any betrayal, You'd do best to trust Your partner (and when You feel like You have to voice Your fears, do it in a non-confrontational way and admit their irrationality to make sure they are not thought of as irritating suspicions by Your partner).

They're probably leaving BECAUSE they have to keep telling you they aren't cheating. I'd rather date a kleptomaniac than an overthinker. That shite is just exhausting. Please get help. You'll push everyone away if you don't, and you deserve better than that.

I have spoken to him about it all and he's reassured me that there's nothing to worry about. I just need to knownif I'm just being silly

Tell him exactly what you've written here. Vent to him. He is the one to help you deal with this.

No, he does go quiet sometimes but he's just recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and is struggling with it, but he tells me all this. Am I just being insecure
