As cold and selfish as some people have become how are they going to find a lifelong mate?

well, we won't and we don't need to, i'm myself never considered a woman to be a life long mate maybe a part of it but to be feel like a family mates and offsprings are not enough for me they could just be a part of it but i want a whole damn pack/pride father, mother, grandparents, uncles, aunts, brothers and sisters older or younger, cousins, nieces/nephews, in-laws, friends, pets, all of them a girl alone cannot make me feel COMPLETE like most people who believes in love says ifanything a woman alone can only make me feel more lacking, like i would be giving parts of myself in order to keep her while losing myself.

There have always been the cold and the selfish, but it is probably more now due to the lack of socializing in person by so many. That lack of experience show on sites like this and others. How often do we see utter rudeness and disregard for others that would enrage us off if it happened in front of us in person?

Because of this lack of interpersonal experience, a lot do not have the tools to even approach, much less capture, a partner.

I think that some will mature with time and then meet someone great. Take for instance, me. Lots of demons, drinking problems, major depression and involuntary long term unemployment. I resolved my issues, as best I can and I’ve met a nice man in my mid thirties, whom I might marry. Some grow up. Others, remain toxic or are merely not meant for married life and never find the right one.

Life is not always easy or at least bearable. People learn different ways of coping with problems.

I'm also called cold. I keep me distance in personal relationships and don't engage in other people lives. It takes me time to open to someone.

Makes sense. I was shy but those days are long gone. Getting your heart broken affects people differently I am seeing this in real life. People carry their hurt for some time. Abuse alcohol maybe? No one would accuse me of being selfish.

They might not, and for some that might be fine for them, or better to stay single if they are truly cold and selfish. That would bring no value to the other person in that relationship. For this I am actually happy for them to stay single and not potentially ruin another person's life or just be another divorce stat.

I try not to worry about it because I can't control this. I don't find it sad if selfish that cold people never find lifelong mates because it's impossible in their entire lives no one ever told them how cold and selfish they are. People choose to be cold and selfish and that won't attract much positive.

I'm not saddened by it. There's too many people on the planet as is. I have a theory this is why the powers that be created the genders wars. They're trying to slow the rate of procreation. This is also why the last couple decades they have been fanning the flames of the gay agenda as well. The more gay people there are they less procreation.
