Oh well, you heard it from the YouTube- very reputable source, so it must be true!!
No, men are not getting surrogates to avoid marriage and child support. Do you know how much surrogacy costs? If a guy is going through surrogacy, but won't pay child support, how does that make sense? I guarantee you whatever the amount of child support he possibly has, it's nowhere near the amount of continual money he'll need to 1) pay for surrogacy, and 2) pay for the child that he bought.
And if a guy is avoiding marriage, then why is he going through surrogacy? Just, oh I don't know, what's the opposite of doing something? That's right:
Not doing it. If he doesn't want to get married, he won't get married. WOWWWWWWW!!!
And if he doesn't want to pay child support, he won't pay child support. The thing about that is, if the mother of the child (ren) takes him to court and wins, the government can and will haul his cheap ass into court and make him pay everything, with interest, over the course of his entire life, until the courts deem whatever he owes as paid in full.
Trust me- I know of an idiot who tried not paying child support for 15 years. Well he's now never going to be able to retire because his ex took him to court years ago, someone reviewed the case, and the judge told him, 'No, you are paying this woman and your kids, even though they're well over the age of 18 - you owe thousands of dollars in back child support. You will pay until that amount is gone. And if you're unemployed, you will find a job and you will pay.'
The guy is about to hit 60. So he'll literally work until he dies, and that's all because he tried being "smart" and The System, which is obviously much smarter, caught up to him and justice is served.
LOL You really said surrogacy!!

Having a surrogate and raising the child doesn't avoid the cost of child support. Instead of sharing the cost of the child with the mother, the father is now paying ALL of the cost himself. . . and raising a child is NOT a moneypmaking proposition.
Didn't hear about it. But I am not sure how I feel about it

I hadn't heard of single men doing this, but I like the idea. Might do it myself.
They can still be held responsible for child support if the surrogate wants but I guess it is still cheaper than marriage.
I'm certainly not.
I want marriage, but I don't want any kids.
More inclined to get a vasectomy if need be tbh.
Can't say I've seen many guys getting surrogates (I can't even think of one instance of it).
I recall a few dozen women who talked about being surrogates to a couple, or needing a surrogate because they couldn't have kids, but I've never seen a guy that became a dad from surrogacy without his wife wanting a baby. This has had put forward almost as soon as in-vitro fertilisation became practicable, after all if women can get themselves pregnant without a male partner if they want children, they why shouldn't men be allowed to use a surrogate to the same end, avoiding marriage & child support would seem to be a bonus, and this is bound to become common as and when artificial wombs become available.
it's not a wide spread phenomenon, so i would say that's insignificant.
Yes, of course they are. It is an attempt to manage a set of nearly intractable problems.
COULD BE... CHILD SUPPORT WACK AS FUCK
Smart moves, for everyone!
And perhaps to avoid custody battles.
I might if it were feasible!
