Depends. If it’s a touchy or emotional topic (like sexual assault, abuse, racism) then I won’t get into debates or heated discussions/arguments. Simply because I know that it can be triggering and almost like a trap, because when you’re passionate about a topic it can be hard having open minded, unbiased conversations. For safer Opinions I just try not taking their opinion personally. There’s times I come here fairly interested in sharing my views on a post only to quickly realize it’s a doomed conversation since that person is incapable of seeing any other view but their own.

I respect their opinion. As long as they can respect mine and dont need to intervene on the way I live my life then it's all good

I listen to their reasons and decide whether I consider them valid. Data is considered. Religious texts and other fiction are not.
