If it's something you feel strongly about, and they disagree with you a lot, like try to shove it down your throat that you are wrong and then get angry when you disagree with them.
I hate these people.

I hate these people.
I don't deal with them.
In real life, I don't talk to or engage with them, unless they're coworkers; in which case, I keep conversations to a minimum and only work-related.
Online, I tolerate them for as long as I can. And if they become too insufferable, obnoxious, or annoying (MSC545 on here), I block them. There's only so much petty disagreement and pointless contrarian responses I can take. I don't mind civil disagreement. The problem, people don't know how to do that anymore.
And in the rare occasions I lose my cool and get too emotional online (like yesterday, with the abortion BS being brought up again on here), I apologize soon after.
This happens more and more as you age believe it or not. Because as you age you're view of the world becomes more fixed. You not only know what you believe but WHY you believe it. This can lead to cynicism as well though so be careful. Fortunately getting older and being more rounded (if you're doing it right anyhow), you become more patient and hopefully tolerant. I pick my battles. If someone's wrong, and they have no intention on trying to be right, it's not my job to fix them.🤣 and if someone is overbearing I tolerate it till I just don't want to anymore then I walk away. This is another good thing about getting older. You start to know who is worth your time and who isn't. And just know that overbearing people tend to do that with everyone. So eventually the drive everyone away and then no one wants to talk to them. So next time, take a deep breathe, smile, and know that you control you. Not anyone else.
The best way to deal with those insecure idiots, is by mastering sarcasm.
I worked in a country club and one waitress was a bitch that had to argue about everything. If you told her your favorite color was blue, she would tell you that you were wrong. (That's a serious sign of an insecure person.)
One day four of us homies were having an after-work drink, and I spotted "Lisa" heading our way. I whispered to the homies: "Hey, whatever Lisa says, just agree with her."
Lisa said something controversial in hopes of getting us angry. lol
Chico: Wow, when you put it that way, it kind of makes sense.
Joe: I guess you kind of have a point.
Me: You might be right, but I'm not sure.
Jane: Well, I guess that's one way of looking at it.
Lisa: Fuck all of you! (and she stomped off)

The only way you can be wrong is if it can be factually proven otherwise it's just an opinion. People only get angry when someone disagrees with their opinion if they are stupid.
I shut up and don't be around them when I don't have to be. Frankly I need this job and I need to not be arrested. And by now I know myself enough to draw the line way sooner than I'll need it. If they ever are open, then we can talk. They know what I think. Until then they can throw hissy fits to other people and not change their mind. I can't deal with that.
Some people particularly younger people raised in a collectivized system have a hard time dealing with the idea others don't agree with them. (It threatens them obviously)
They usually mellow out with age as they learn and see there is no need to agree.
troll them. it can be done with jokes and sarcasm or replying to them calmly while they continue to get emotional and make a fool out of themselves.
I stop talking to them, I dont need that kind of negativity. As a favorite comedian I fallow says "You can't fix stupid."
I either prove them wrong or tell them "think what you want."
Doesn't happen thankfully
