• Be supportive and protective but not over-supportive or overprotective
• Provide for an affluent lifestyle where she wants for nothing but still values what you enable her to acquire
• Democratic decision making but as a strong guiding household leader (don't be a push over but make mutual decisions)
• Respect the boundaries of feminine and masculine spheres (e. g. don't maker her to fix art to walls but allow her to either hire someone to do it or to pick out the art and decorate)
• Give her the option to be a stay-at-home mother for as long as she wants to be
• Don't allow her to go out dressed to attract (in a sexual way) to clubs with her friends, which is just seeking another or a better guy in a place where guys are actively seeking her out – compromise on that, go with her or something
• Maintain your appearance and health and allow her to be proud to introduce you to others
• Don't shout at her, beat her, betray her, mistreat her or put up with any of that from her

Communication and honesty. If there are issues, speak up. If you appreciate her, speak up. Also when choosing a partner, focus on the chemistry you have with her. Does she have similar interests, views, style of communication, sense of humor, way of thinking, etc. as you?

The trick to getting a long term relationship is to fill in a gap in her life and maintain a constant and desirable equilibrium. There was a co worker who liked me and he would text me good morning and good night every day and we would have discussions about how our day went around the same time every night after he was finished work and he would invite me to the same events over and over again with the same friends. We did not date in the end, cause I felt God was telling me he was not the one for me so I basically said no to every invitation.
