Although I have never been in an abusive relationship and my current one would never ever hit me, I just remembered being pushed hard by my fuckbuddy when I was younger.

It made me think what kind of relationship we would've had if we had gotten together and I think probably not a very good one. He probably would have been abusive to me because he showed signs of having anger issues. So I thank goodness it never went further than sex with him.

Thank you. I definitely stayed longer than I should have. I tried to break up with her 2 times prior to actually doing it. The first time she told me she was going to kill herself. The second time she told me she was going to tell people I raped her. And the third time when I finally dumped her, she told everyone that I was physically and mentally abusive. Getting out of the relationship was worth getting jumped and having some people think I'm abusive or whatever. I'm very happy with the people in my life now and my current partner
