I know this men for 5 years
He was 36y/o smart successful kinda handsome has a good job stable financially and a straight man but he was and still single until 41
I don't say I am a catch and perfect but I am ok good looking educated as well stable and most of the time kind
He was playing with my feelings "doing his job as a man confused and doesn't know what he wanted" he wasted 5 years of his life and my life with his confusion I know he loved me and I loved him but he didn't do any serious move
When he found out that I was into him too and he started to DISRESPECT ME IGNORE ME AVOIDE ME
Whenever i get bored and leave he appeared again like nothing happened and started all over again and because i loved him and because i m dumb I gave a second, third, fourth i don't know how many times but when I am ok with him he do it again and DISRESPECT ME IGNORE ME AVOIDE ME
I have turned off few good guys (not many like 2) because my heart was with him
He didn't want me but he didn't let me go

He liked the attention he got from u without wanting to be with you noting alien about that u thought he would change and he wanted things to stay the same
But he is 40 y o he wasted 5 years of his life doing this
I am sad about the 5 years i wasted on him

No in your eyes he wasted those 5 years because u feel like u did the same he might have enjoyed the time
I know a few guys like that. It’s possible he has very exact standards and he’s very attracted to you, but there is something about you he can’t get over so he’s written you off for anything serious. Or he’s afraid of commitment and/or he’s playing games. Typically though, the latter is usually men who have multiple women pursuing them.
