I'm pregnant but I don't want to be with the father of my child?

He was my boyfriend, and we broke up a month ago. I don't like nor love him. I don't want to be with him. I found out I'm 2 months and 2 weeks pregnant. The doctors say if I did abortion, I could have serious problems with my health. I'm stuck in a difficult situation and don't know what to do.

I learned lessons that in essence... you can F things up, but you can't "Un F". What you can do is learn lessons and make better decisions going forward. It does not make sense what you said and I don't trust women as your hormones get all messed up. That said...

I was just hearing the story of this 17yr old woman whom had a kid and the father was, a free spirit. He went off on the road in the circus and was of no help. She fortunately had support of family for a time, moved around a bit, went to school and got a degree. There she found someone else and got married, so the son had a father.. and other sibling. Didn't know his birth father, never connected.

The boy did very well, grew up, went to college and graduated top of class. Some time later on a road trip, he had a business idea. The rest is history... and you can now buy stuff on Amazon.

That boy be Jeff Bezos.

And so you just never know whom you've got showing up, it's a crap shoot. Give them the support they need and maybe they make a difference in the world. Maybe they solve some deep physics problems, or just do what Mother Teresa did. Or maybe just an average joe. Either way, you are fortunate, I have no child of my own.

I hope you have the support you need, that is important. If not, start forming what you can.

What can I say, do the best you can. If this isn't the one, so be it. No-one can make the decision but you.

Why were you boning a guy wo was not a good candidate to be a husband and father? This is the consequences of your poor decision and an adult lesson is realizing that there aren't a lot of chances to undone things in life.

Have the baby. If you aren't ready to be a mom, talk to the father about placing the baby for adoption.

If you think she has done this stupid action can imagine what she will do when the child is born. When the child is born, its really hard a for person to just give the baby away, its a hard choice all around but abortion seriously is the lesser of all the evils. Adoption sounds like an easy answer but that kids life is still going to be misery.

That is called a consequence to poor decision making. It is also why people say that if you don't want a kid don't have sex. If you don't want to be with the guy then don't. By that same token don't target him for child support just because you fucked up and don't want to be with him. If you plan to target him because of your poor choices at least give him a choice if he wants to be their for you and the baby or not.

Before you worry about him, decide what you want to do with the kid. Afterwards, well, you might not like him, but he should at least have the opportunity to be in his child’s life. It’s not only unethical, but detrimental to the kid’s wellbeing to deprive him/her of his/her father.
