I became good friends with this guy a while before we became friends with benefits. We've been friends with benefits for a least 3 years now. Saw him last night, hugged each other before I left and I could swear he said I love you before we hugged which took me by surprise. I didn't say it back because I wasn't totally sure that's what he said, didn't want to make things awkward, now thinking back I'm positive he did.
I always hang out afterwards for a while after we have sex, I get a little cuddly and chit chat. Neither of us are ready for a relationship yet, we both agreed to what we both wanted and set boundries and we do care for each other. last few times I saw him he has become more affectionate before i leave. I guess I'm not sure what he meant by i love you last night. Is that a normal thing to say? This is my first time with an friends with benefits. What do you guys think? Thanks!
