Yes. There's a very loud and powerful minority of people - MANY of them in the media and in education - who have been sending that message out loudly and often for the last 30-40 years. You may not even be aware that you're getting that message, but you are. Example: every single husband or father on TV, in any show of any theme, is an incompetent loser who needs his wife or husband to constantly save him from himself, and who is smarter and more moral than he is.
THAT IS NOT REALITY, but it's very much the reality the media is pushing, and it's what many who are in positions of power in the media actually believe. The same in education - boys - white boys in particular - are being taught that they are oppressors, are evil, and MUST apologize and give up their positions so that women and minorities can get ahead, REGARDLESS of merit or hard work (both of which, they are taught, are racist ways that white men oppress others with).
Many have; a constant inundation of demonization will do that to you. It's also why "unlearning" it isn't a solution; it'll just come back. Discouraging the widespread and horrifically sexist rhetoric will help, on a social level, but won't do much for the already affected; they need better self-image and mental resilience. Help them build themselves up, if you're concerned about them.
Nowdays everywhere people make contents about if you should treat a woman like this n that or if she leaves its all ur fault or telling us girls a guy who do this n that isn't the one. Majority of those video content creaters are men, maybe u should try to ask ur fellow men why they tell us if ur man forgot ur bday he doesn't love u😏.
